Services will be conducted by Cantor Mark Novak

Mark Novak began his musical career as a child, singing with a professional Jewish choir and appearing on Broadway in the musical Oliver. From 1977 to 1986, Mark served as the music director of the Living Stage Thater Company of Arena Stage. Mark performed his original theater pieces at the Smithsonian's Discovery Theater, the Worf Trap Center for the Performing Arts, and the National Air and Space Museum. His work was also featured in Shofar Magazine.

As a freelance cantor, Mark has served many Washington, D.C. area congYedidregations, including High Holiday services at Congregation Adas Israel and Kol Shalom. Mark and his wife Renee have been the roulette casino online featured performing artists in the Jewish Folk Arts Festival in Greater Washington, and have a full schedule of performances and workshops across the country.

Date TBA - (Snack social time begins at 6:30) Special musical Shabbat with Reb David Shneyer at the 6th and I Street Synagogue. Come and learn several new songs that will become a regular part of our worship liturgy. Also Reb David will present "The Kabbalah of Sinai: A Brief Introduction to Kabbalah". Service will be followed by a desert Oneg Shabbat in the social hall.
